Shakespeare festival
OVERVIEW
Sacramento Shakespeare Festival 2025: “All the City’s a Stage” is a week-long, city-wide celebration of Shakespeare’s greatest works. This fictitious campaign includes a variety of small to large scale deliverables, guiding students, families, and theatre enthusiasts to this event for an unforgettable experience.
CONCEPT
The title’s type act as simple and dynamic building blocks with hidden iconography in and in between letters for views to find. The iconography and type fit like puzzle pieces that come together like a community coming together or cast members involved in a play production. Every piece and player is needed to create an impactful and memorable event. At the bottom, a scroll of weathered paper provides a foundation for the tagline, pushing the Shakespearean theatre aesthetic.

Using the established design in the 16”x20” main event poster, I expanded the design into a billboard, bus shelter schedule, and light pole banners. People living and commuting to Sacramento will see these posters when they drive, walk, or rest where these deliverables reside.
EXPERIENCE
During the event, large-scale identifiers like this banner help attendees locate the event. When attendees arrive, they will receive a brochure that lists event information, full schedule, sponsors.
FOLLOW-up
To commemorate their time at the event, attendees can purchase and collect merchandise with 2025 Shakespeare Festival’s branding, colors, and theme.
